Z06 Mods.

First Mod:  CAGS disable on 2nd day of owner ship.

Second Mod:  Cut down a GM Truck Radio Antenna, repainted and added a tip.

Third Mod:   Fabricated a trunk partition seen here from the trunk side.

Fourth Mod:  Purchased the cover for the center trunk well area.

Fifth Mod:  Painted the door handle surrounds.

Sixth Mod:   Added a plain polished SS rear exhaust area plate.

Seventh Mod:   Brake pads... could not stand the dust caused by the stock pads (at 1620 miles).

Eighth Mod:   Removed the Body Side Moldings.

Ninth Mod:   Purchased  Borla Stingers and installed them on the car.   The resonance was too

much!    I swapped the B&B Tri-Flows with the Stingers.

I purchased the Magnaflow X-Pipe (seen on the ground here) as I start the

reverse swap.

Red car up and pull the Stingers, then Z06 up and pull the Tri-Flows.

H-pipe on the Z06, measured and ready to cut!

Compare the two.   The H section is joke.  The size of the holes into  the "H" are

about 0.7"  or about the diameter of a nickel.    For good or bad,  the X-Pipe is

free flowing  nearly full diameter from either inlet to both outlets.

Here the X-Pipe is in place.   Perfect fit.

Then with the Stingers in place... also a good fit.   Then the Tri-Flows

reinstalled on the Red car.

Not entirely happy with the Z06 exhaust sound.  With this setup, the idle is great, the exterior noise is okay, however I now have  drone sound instead of the resonance.    I am thinking about a set of  B&B Bullets for the Z car and the Stingers back on the red!
