Family Pictures

My favorite snap shots from a long time ago... (almost before time began).  The Everhart Kids:

My sister Barbara and myself (Neil) ... 1943

Barbara, Keith and Neil - probably in 1945.

Jon and Jan Phillips - about 1949 - 3 years old.

Jump ahead about 10 years to late '59.   Mom, dad, Neil, Keith, Barbara and Leslie.

Skip ahead a bunch of years....  Jan and I marry and have Lorri and Mike.  Early pictures are

on the way.

Lorri with her bike (from her 8th birthday).

Lorri in the Mohave in '79 ... (on a borrowed bike)

Should have photos of Mike and his dirt bike here.... (where  are they? ).

Jump ahead to '93 and Lisa's wedding.

While Mike was in HS, he had a '69 Dodge Cornet.  We did a rebuild of that motor (Mike had Dave the engine builder updated the cam) and the Cornet was running good.  But Mike found a '69 Cuda that he had to have.     I was resisting a double motor swap.   But the flex plate failed in the Cuda and we pulled both engines, had one trany rebuilt for street performance, and reassembled both cars.  The Cuda got all of the good stuff.    (need a picture of the Cornet)

Mike with the good 383.

It was not unusual for Mike to have a few friends stop and see what was up.

This is the motor in and everything back into place.... not too bad... Mike did all the work.

A driver's side view...

A passenger side view...

I drove this car one day and saw how much power it had and the rush of a "V-8" ... and got to thinking that I should look at driving something a little more fun (also).

However we had to deal with gratuations in '95...   Mike assuring his mohter that he graduated HS.

and Lorri and I after her Cal Poly San Luis Obispo ceremonies.

and in May this yellow '95 Mustang GT for Lorri's graduation.

And the best dog that we ever owned.
